Another Boring Day in Paradise

30 December 2009

There are lots of reasons to love living in the Texas Panhandle.  Here are twelve (yes, twelve):

This big boy (odocoileus hemionus) was biding his time along a dirt road in southern Randall County, about two miles west of Ceta Canyon.

    qb,

Hope the skiing was truly recreational. The above is breathtaking. On Christmas day, I walked outside in the snow and a male cardinal rested momentarily on one of our large crape myrtles. I followed it as it flew away and saw a white hawk gliding on a warm updraft about three hundred feet up. Also breathtaking.

    Blessings and Happy New Year!

Ahhhhhhhhhh…just as qb returns to Timothy Keller’s section on beauty as a clue to the existence and beneficence of God. Great timing. qb
